Abstract

WELFARE INDICATOR 2018 is an annual publication of Statistics of Belu Regency-BPS that presents the level of development of the welfare of the people of Malaka district between time and its comparison between districts and residential areas (urban and rural).The data used were sourced from BPS, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Ministry of Health. BPS data are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), Podes, and the 2010-2020 Population Projection for Indonesia.This publication presents various aspects of welfare for which data are available and measurable. To facilitate interpretation, changes in the level of welfare are assessed according to eight areas which include Population, Health and Nutrition, Education, Employment, Consumption and Levels, Housing and Environment, Poverty, and Other Social Conditions which are the reference in efforts to improve the quality of life.The publication of 2018 Welfare Indicators is expected to be able to provide information on the socio-economic development of the community of Malaka Regency. Hopefully this publication can be useful for all parties in supporting the implementation of regional development in particular and national in general.
